Our Recycling Program
Here at WA Brickmatch we are environmentally friendly and conscious of the need to protect our future resources in Western Australia. We have an established recycling program for secondhand bricks, pavers and roof tiles.
We regularly source our recycled bricks and building products from demolition sites and people re-roofing their homes, knocking down walls or upgrading their paving.
If you have any face bricks, paving or roof tiles in good condition and in a reasonable quantity then we may be interested in purchasing them from you.
Please note, we are generally looking for secondhand bricks, pavers and roof tiles that are 'no longer in production'.
How our Recycling program works...
We purchase secondhand bricks, pavers and roof tiles from the general public, trades and demolition companies.
If you are a Demolition Company please click here for more details.
If you are a private seller or tradesperson then we require the following information before we can make a buying decision on what you are offering.
We need to confirm the quality of the product you have, the colour, type and profile it is and the approximate quantity you have available.
For Face Bricks
- One Photograph of the face of the brick (in .jpeg format)
- Identify whether it is a 'solid brick' or 'cored' (ie. has holes in it)
- Tell us what colour it is and the name/manufacturer if you know it.
- Tell us what quantity you have available in m2 or total number of bricks.
- Include your name, telephone number, email address and pickup address.
Or
Bring a 'full sized sample' into our Yard and supply the above information in person.
For Paving
- Three photographs (in .jpeg format) as per below:-
> One photo of the top of the paver
> One photo of the bottom of the paver
> One photo of a section of the paving laid down (if possible).

- Tell us what quantity you have available in m2. Click here for common sizes of paving per m2.
- Tell us the dimensions of the paver in length, width and height (in mm's).

Minimum Quantities Required
For WA Brickmatch to send out our 'On Road Team' and truck to pickup and palletise bricks, pavers and roof tiles we need the following minimum quantities for the job to be considered cost effective...
For quantities less than this, you will need to transport the items to our Yard.
What happens next...
On receipt of your email or sample, Dawn McKinnon the Proprietor of WA Brickmatch will evaluate the quality of the secondhand product, the quantity you have available and then checks the Yard stock to see if we need the product or whether we already have it in stock in sufficient quantities.
Dawn will then contact you by telephone or email to let you know whether we wish to purchase your bricks, paving or roof tiles.
If yes
-
A representative from WA Brickmatch will telephone you and make a booking for the 'On Road Team' to come out and palletise the job. You will be advised at this time of the rate you will receive per m2 or per individual item for the job.
Please allow 1 to 2 weeks in advance for bookings.
- Then allow a 3 day window for the job palletising to be completed.
- Allow a further 1 to 5 working days for the Truck to pickup the goods from site and deliver them to our yard as we use an outside contractor.
- When the stock arrives in our yard a job count is done and payment by cheque is made to you within 7 to 10 days.
If no
If we decide the job is not viable for us, you have a number of other options:-
- Advertise the goods for sale in the Quokka
-
